Racing is not the only thing in the life of a visitor to Le Mans Classic

Le Mans Classic is preparing to welcome a large number of spectators coming to see more than 800 cars that will be racing all weekend. But the majority are coming to live a unique weekend packed with surprises and entertainment. And they won’t be disappointed as Le Mans Classic is getting ready to offer them a real festival of activities including concerts, a drive-in cinema, villages packed with boutiques, an auction and exceptional exhibitions linked to the centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. There’ll be something for every taste !

For the more seasoned collectors and those in search of that rare object, the exhibitors present their stands under the sign of automotive passion with scale models, accessories, books, gloves, helmets, etc. So many objects that they will spark your curiosity and send you strolling around the villages. Experts and collectors will be able to meet up and get together again at the Artcurial auction where more than 120 cars will go under the hammer, as well as automotive accessories and exclusive collector objects. Among the activities to visit during the weekend is the ‘Fédération Française des Véhicules d’Epoque’s’ assembly of the brands that dared to enter for the first edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. For this unique occasion, this exhibition shows a car representing each of the 17 brands entered for the 1923 race. The Centenary Exhibition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in close collaboration with the ACO has gathered together almost 90 cars including 65 winners of the 24 Hours of Le Mans as well as 21 that have marked the history of the Sarthe classic. Between two races, the clubs present at Le Mans Classic will be able to take advantage of the track to do a few laps of the circuit. An opportunity that the kids can also enjoy with Little Big Mans, a parade with miniature replicas of the cars entered!

From the early morning until the sun sets, entertainment and activities will thrill the spectators: funfair games, a beauty boudoir for ladies and a retro barber’s shop for men, temporary tattoos, a demonstration of vintage trial vehicles, a Wall of Death, old-fashioned dancers, musical entertainment with the Lann Bihoué pipe band that will parade on the pit lane before the start of the first grid on Saturday, and a dance evening animated by the Radio Nostalgia DJ!

The days will be long and if you’re looking for a little peace and quiet, you can relax in a comfortable deck chair in front of a giant screen to see the selection of films on show at the Drive-In, the retro American cinema at Le Mans Classic!
